Choose a class that fits your plans
Start with the class format and commitment you want. A gym or studio category does not tell you which session is available today.
A venue is not a timetable
A fitness or yoga category identifies a type of business, not a live list of classes. Recorded opening hours may describe reception or building access while classes run at separate times. Ask the venue for its current timetable and confirm the exact location: some providers teach in more than one building.
Decide whether you are looking for a one-off visit, a trial, a course or an ongoing membership. Compare those options separately. A low monthly headline price is not directly comparable with a single class unless you also know the minimum commitment, joining fee and cancellation terms.
Understand the format before reserving
Ask how the provider describes the class, how long it lasts and whether prior experience is expected. Check whether you need to book ahead, join a waiting list or arrive early for a first visit. A “beginner” label can mean different things at different venues; ask the instructor or provider what to expect.
Find out whether equipment is supplied, rented or brought by participants. Ask about changing facilities, storage and footwear requirements. These details are not implied by a photograph or a broad category. If you need an adjustment or have a question about health suitability, discuss that with the appropriate qualified person before booking; this directory cannot assess it.
Check the commitment
- Is the price for one class, a pack, a course or a recurring subscription?
- Do unused sessions expire, and can bookings be transferred?
- What happens if the venue cancels a session?
- What notice is needed to cancel or reschedule your own booking?
- Does a trial turn into an automatically renewed membership?
Make your shortlist practical
Use city and category filters to find a manageable area, then compare addresses and contact details. Consider the journey at the time you plan to attend, including the return trip. Ratings and review volume add context but do not establish that a class suits your schedule or needs.
Confirm the first session directly and retain the agreed time, location and terms. G4Well does not take bookings, collect membership payments or represent the venue. If a profile's address or contact details are incorrect, send us a correction so we can review the record.
